On June 17, 2017 Anthony Oscar Iniguez, a 20-year-old Latino man was riding his bike north on Normandie Avenue in Los Angeles just before 1 a.m He was alone and returning home after visiting a friend.

Shortly after he headed home, an unknown shot him once in the head. He was taken to a hospital, where he died three days later, at 2:38 p.m. on June 20. It’s unclear if someone on foot shot him or if it was a drive by shooting. Anthony wasn’t affiliated with any gangs and had no known enemies. It’s believed he could have been shot by someone affiliated with a gang. Today, no one knows because no one is talking.

For this episode I spoke to Anthony’s cousin Shannon. She told me that Anthony was an amazing young man. He was a dedicated father and loved his 2 kids and wife more than life itself.

It’s been over 3 years since this young man was murdered. The family is still devastated and will never recover from the loss. On behalf of Anthony’s family, I am asking someone to do the right thing and provide a tip. It could be something you don’t think is important.

Anthony has 2 children that will never know him. He won’t be sitting at the dinner table for Thanksgiving dinner this year. And there will be no Christmas gifts from Anthony under the family Christmas tree. If you know something, please provide a tip.
