For this week’s episode I spoke to Griselda Martinez, who is the sister of Army paratrooper Enrique Roman-Martinez, who disappeared on May 22, 2020. He went camping with 7 other Ft. Bragg soldiers on North Carolina’s South Core Banks.
On May 23, 2020 A fellow soldier called 911 and claimed that Martinez wandered off the previous evening and never returned. Allegedly, he was only wearing shorts and no shirt. His remains washed up on Shackleford Banks Island on May 29, 2020. Someone had murdered Enrique and then dismembered his body.
Do you know who killed this 21-year-old soldier? Enrique had a lot to live for. He will never become a father, grandfather or be able to possibly give away one of his sisters at their future weddings.
