Episode 21: The unsolved murder of Mary Jane Reed (Part 2 of 2)

For the conclusion of the Mary Jane Reed story, I spoke to Mike Arians, who was the mayor of Oregon, Illinois from 1999 to 2003. Mike is also the owner of an Illinois restaurant called the Roadhouse which has been featured by various media sources as being haunted. You see, it was formerly known as The Stenhouse, which plays an important part in the murders of Mary Jane Reed and Stanley Skridla.

Mike Arians and Warren Reed, the younger brother of Mary Jane Reed still want to find out who killed Mary Jane Reed and Stanley Skridla. The case is currently considered open and has been cold since 1948.

For many years, it's been rumored that Arian's restaurant is haunted by the spirit of Mary Jane Reed. Some people think her spirit still roams Illinois because no one has ever solved her homicide case.
