In 2018, a private investigator named Jim Cappello had called his sister. He said he wasn't feeling well. Jamie Weast was Jim's older sister. Her instincts as a nurse told her that this could be serious. She spoke to Jim's wife Nicole about the matter. Nicole Cappello was also a nurse. She told Jamie not to worry. She would look after Jim. Within days, Jim would be found dead and his wife Nicole would be arrested and charged with killing Jim by poisoning him.

For this episode, I spoke to Jamie about her brother. She told me he was a successful private investigator in Huntsville, Alabama and was a great father to his young daughter. Jamie and her family are preparing for Nicole's upcoming trial in January 2020. Although Nicole hasn't been convicted, the Cappello family believe she is responsible for Jim's death.

Jamie could only share certain details about the case because of the pending trial, but she will provide a follow up after the trial ends.
