For this week’s episode I spoke to Bridget, Hannah and Gina. Bridget, Hannah and Brianna Wells were best friends. All three attended high school together in Arizona. Gina is Bridget’s mother. She also knew Brianna through Bridget. On December 29, 2014, the body of Brianna Wells was found deceased and dumped in an alley in the southern part of Phoenix, Arizona. Brianna had been shot to death.
Her two best friends Hannah and Bridget, also teenagers at the time, have never forgotten Brianna. It’s been nearly six years since Brianna was taken from her two friends. They are both angry that her killer is still free. They want to see justice for their friend and have vowed to keep Brianna’s memory alive.
I consider this interview unique. Typically, it’s a family member who is advocating for a deceased loved one. In this episode, I spoke to the victim’s two best friends and the mother of one of these friends. I asked why these ladies are pushing for justice and not the family. All three claim Briana’s family has moved on and done little to pursue justice for Brianna. They have even brought in a private investigator to help them find out what happened to Brianna in 2014.
